Figured I'd post a follow-up on my experience with the 3.1.8 SDK.

After flashing this SDK, I have not been having the "power-on"/brick issues that seemed to plague the earlier SDKs.
I randomly go turn the box on to make sure it is still working, and every time it comes right up! This is really great.

You should download official firmware for A1000G

http://chinagadgetsr...e-v318-for.html

How many models of the A1000G are there? The screenshot shows Cinch and VGA which is not on the back of my box.

Indeed,

There's no rear 'micro USB' connector, fixed WiFi antenna and top SATA port!

I've been testing hardware media playback devices and software A/V encoders and decoders since 2001 | My Network Layout and A/V Gear | Please post in-accordance with the Forum Rules

DEVICE: VidOn Box · SDK 1.4 · VidOn XBMC 1.0.0.0 (Gotham) and VidOn XBMC 15.2.2 (Kodi/Helix) · VMC (VidOn Media Center) 0.0.1.9 (Gotham)

That link works for me and it's the box I own.

Nah, that's definitely WD. Check their official forums for the confusion on which player supports Netflix.

But they got only a few Models.

At Mele, they seem to have 100.

Even some models with the same designation differ....the A1000G for instance.

Others are only for Chinese Markets...

Wow, their Website is back...
