First, I would like to say this product rocks!  I am trying to setup firewall rules on the server itself to restrict to a specific subnet.  For the life of me, I tried but can't figure it out.  Can you give us a more detail info on how it's working (beyond tcp 31040-31080)?  I am running Win2k8 R2 server but local ip scope and remote ip scope are not working correctly.

I'll ask the developer and see what we can do about this.

Great. Thank you!

In the interim, I added another nic card to my Sophos UTM firewall and moved the streaming server to the same segment.  I created rules to allow certain subnets to access it.  The automatic detection doesn't work but I can manually add the VidOn server.  It's maybe because the automatic detection will on work only on the same segment.

Off the topic,  How can I play from an OS X?  From what I can see, everything runs on android.
