VidOn Box Shipments Change notice

Dear Users

We have just received notification from the logistic company and they have encountered some difficulties.

Due to some unexpected problem, shipments from Shenzhen and Guangdong to Hong Kong now takes way more time than it should be. This issue may not be solved until early of November. In that case, the international shipment of VidOn Box is affected and most of the VidOn Box cannot go through the original shipping process.

Please note that if your order status shows that your VidOn Box has already left Hong Kong, then you shipment is not affected by this issue.

In order to ensure you can receive VidOn Box as soon as possible, we are now changing our shipment method by using an alternative method. It may takes a little more time than the original plan and the new tracking number will also be available when your box shipped out.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Update Oct. 10th, 2014
The first batch:
1. VidOn Box which sent to US is already in US and should reach you very soon.
2. VidOn Box which using Hong Kong post is now in the declaration process.

The second Batch:
1. The second Batch of VidOn Box has already been shipped out using China Post.

How much more time will it take to get these units shipped out? I ask because I have sold my house and I am moving to a new house. The shipment would have made it to my old address with plenty of time to spare. Now it looks like I will be moved into a new home by the time the shipment comes.

How much more time will it take to get these units shipped out? I ask because I have sold my house and I am moving to a new house. The shipment would have made it to my old address with plenty of time to spare. Now it looks like I will be moved into a new home by the time the shipment comes.

 

I'm afraid because the vidon box is in the shipment process so changing the address now may not be possible. The new methods will takes 7-15 business days.

Ok, that's not to bad. It is cutting it close for my move, but I think it will be fine.  Thank you for the update.

Buying from China appears to be very problematic still. Hopefully this box will be well worth the wait :smile:

 

My is also in Customs,  awaiting customs clearance"...for 3 days.   How long does it take for customs

it seems way to long wait why.  I just got a movie from amazon.uk  and went though customs in two days and got in mail the third day.

it hasn't moved from this since Sept 28th...sucks when you are one of the very first people to order in the first wave ( got mine ordered 3 minutes after the "launch time" aka ordered right when the site opened up...)

 

did mine potentially got lost?

Sounds like it got caught in the snafu mentioned in first post

I think my shipment has been badly affected by the issue as it has been In Transit at Shenzhen since the day it was shipped on the 29th Sept, is there anything that can be done to speed up the process or do I have to wait till November as mentioned ?

Hi Skyliner

I also had problems to activate/bind the box.

It never asked me about topup-card,and it said nothing to update,after some time i got notified that there were an update,i updated and now i could activate the vidon-box.

The box allready had a number so i choosed that,and it seems to have activated the 3 months trial-period.

Hi Hasse,

we have two different situations. You seem to have regularly ordered the box, I applied for testing the box without ordering it.

I got the player today but now I am asked to enter a 12 digit prepaid code - is this the license ID?? My account does not show a license ID nor one of those strange top up cards.

I assume that Vidon.me forgot at least some of the testers and winners :(

Good luck with Prepaid and Top up codes. Still no reply from support so I cannot test the box :bs2:

Sure hope this isn't going to be par for the course...especially after all the hassle of ordering & receiving them. Vidon team needs to step up.
