Dear all,

I was one of the lucky few hundreds to have gotten the AV200 at half price. Very glad to say that after using for a few weeks, I am able to play most of my blueray and dvd isos via Windows Network (SMB) thru wired ethernet. I tried using the wireless connection but the video playbacks were bad.

With the android yatse remote app, I am able to control the AV200 remotely without problem. Also, it is easy to connect my wireless Logitech keyboard to it.

Regarding the quality of the blu-ray playback, so far, I am satisfied although comparing it with my old Astone AP360, the AP360 is much smoother and sharper but it doesn't have the blu-ray menu navigation.

Here are some pictures of my AV200 with Astone AP360.

Thanks for your review.
We'll continue to improve the playback performance. The VidOn Media Center actually is Alpha version, it will be better and better in the future.

Given that this 'review' contains a 'bug report', I have split out the bug report and moved to here...

I've been testing hardware media playback devices and software A/V encoders and decoders since 2001 | My Network Layout and A/V Gear | Please post in-accordance with the Forum Rules
