My team has been having an issue with Project. We do not have the professional version, so we are not able to make tasks "inactive." In my understanding, when a task is inactive, it is crossed out. Even though we do not have access to this function, about once a week a Project file I am using becomes corrupted. When I open the file, it will have no error message, but almost all of the tasks will have a line through them and look inactive, be greyed out, and the predecessors have randomly mismatched and rearranged themselves. There is no way within Project to make the tasks active again, because we don't have the option to make tasks active or inactive in the first place. I haven't found anyone else who is having this issue online, hoping I could get some help here?

Any idea?

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
