I'm actually using a linux server running samba to provide SMB shares. There is a very interesting feature which allows shares permissions to be set for some hosts, a feature we use in a teaching context (classrooms are turned to exam rooms sometimes, so the machine is more important than the people logged on it. Sometimes access to these shares is disabled, sometimes it is read-only, it depends on the needs).

I would like to use a NAS instead of this homebrew solution, but I have still not been able to find a way to mimic this feature in the SMB world. The computer system account seems to be the only trustee available at computer level, which is useless for my needs.
So, is there another way to implement that feature ?
Please help.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
