I just got my Vidon Box but when I try to access shares my unraid server, which has my movied stored, I get often a "connection timed out" message and it shows an empty folder. Is there a way to make the vidon box wait longer or until the shares are fully read? As a work around I repeat accessing the share several times until the folders are shown.
Is it better to play my movies through XBMC versus Files?

How did you connect the box to your NAS, via Samba or NFS? Maybe you should make sure you get all permission to access the NAS if you were using NFS.
Samba usually is very simple, but NFS is complex.
You can also connect the box to your NAS manually, to enter the static IP, username and pwd.
