Hi guys,

Since people are paying a yearly subscription for "Regular updates" to their Vidon Boxes.. I thought i's ask about when the next update is due.?

The last update to Kodi/XBMC, appears to have been in April 2015.. 4 months ago..  Thats quite a long time... and it's still marked as "Unstable"..

We are now working on the Kodi 15, we will keep up the pace of Kodi to release the VidOn XBMC 15.x.x

...And a good news is VidOn XBMC for Windows is under developing.

I promise we are working on the new version, but we don't have enough people to do this, so the progress is a little slow.

If you find any serious bug, please post it out.

Now that you guys got our money, you don't care about supporting the user who first bought your product.

This could have bean the best Media player.

Is the VidOn box project DEAD?

Please let us know.

Of course VidOn XBMC is not dead and it won't dead. Don't worry, we are indeed working on the new version and our new project VidOn Server. You will see a great product in the coming days.

Next release plan:
VidOn Server for PC
VidOn for Android Phone and iPhone (Upgrade from the VidOn Player, it can play movies via Samba or connect to VidOn Server)
VidOn for TV (VidOn Cloud TV)
VidOn XBMC (Based on Kodi 15.2)

And then
VidOn for TV (which integrate the VidOn Server, so you will only need to install one .apk on your VidOn Box or other Android Box, no more need PC)
VidOn Server for Smart Router...

VidOn Server for NAS...

Well, as the saying goes, buy cheap, buy twice.. Which appears to be the case with the Vidon box.. I've had to buy another box because I'm tired of waiting for a working version of the firmware that doesn't crash every 20 minutes...

and there is still no sign of any updates... Months later... Wolly also commented on 28th September that the update was "Almost done" it's a month later and still nothing.. Don't get me wrong, i'd love to be proved wrong.. But i don't think it's coming...

Hey, Rechard

I don't know what did you mean "crash every 20 minutes", what crash? VidOn XBMC or VMC? Did you do a reset or clean the data and cache of VidOn XBMC or VMC? We never encountered this issue.

Hi!

Is there a ETA on the update including Kodi 15?

It has been a while since the last update and a couple of weeks ago Wolly mentioned "Of course VidOn XBMC is not dead and it won't dead. Don't worry, we are indeed working on the new version........."

There are some bugs in the 14-release witch is annoying that I hope is resolved in the new release.

Best Regards,

Jonas Andersson

It will be released by the end of this month, if everything goes well.
