I have searched the internet and this forum and cannot find a way to copy a ripped file to the box over the network from my computer.  I even tried installing an ftp app on the box and its still not working.

How do you put your files on the external hdd to play on the box?  I know i could put the hd on my computer, copy the files then hook it back up to the box, but looking for a way to copy over the network.
Thanks for all replies.

I'm afraid you should run a samba server on the box, but it requires a root box, however VidOn Box cannot be rooted.

Don't forget that you can use ADB for this......

I use it all the time...
