I am unsure if i know misuderstood this elsewhere but i will ask my question outright

Is it possible to use VidOn server and player outside of the home network?  In other words, can i have my computer at home running my server and be at work and use VidOn player on my IPhone 5S to watch videos over 4G LTE.  I couldn't find anywhere where this was stated that it could or couldn't be down, but in my situation VidOn Server and VidOn player are kind of pointless if i can only use them on my home network.

Sorry if this is a stupid question or one that is asked all the time, just didn't seem to find the answer i was looking for.

Hey Beau,

Unfortunately the programs currently only work within a single network environment, so your connected device must be on the same network as the server to access your media. In the future we hope to incorporate cloud options but for now this will serve solely as an in home media server.
