- Full 3D Support incl. sequential shutter resolution?  Yes

- HD-Audio-Passthrough incl. DTS HD MA & Dolby True HD...5.1, 7.1? Yes

- autoframerate detection and Setting (striking point for many Android platforms) incl. native 24p % 23,976 fps support? Yes, the default setting is 1080P@24Hz, and if you play a 60Hz movie, it will switch to 60Hz automatically.

- NFS, SMB, DLNA executable? Twin DMS/DMR function of the box? Yes

- what about a cool Android/ Remote App perhaps with mirroring functionality? Cool Remote App, Yes. But currently no mirroring functionality.

- the Metro Interface looks very inviting since These Tabs look like links to the XBMC collection or will it be a separate scraper? Yes, it's a separate scraper, will be better than the XBMC's.

24.000hz as now in AV200, or will be properly 23.976hz? ;)

Having the option of providing a 'fixed' output at both 1080p@23.976Hz and 1080p@24.000Hz would be preferable ;)

Could you perhaps post some screenshots of how the scrapper will work and look like? Or maybe even a video? Sounds very interesting.

You can try our VidOn Server, they use same scraper. And we are still improving it.

Hi,

I am interested in purchasing the new VidOn box, but have a question regarding subtitles. I have purchased plenty of other players, and software that boast the ability to display subtitles along with various video formats. But after spending a lot of money, I want to make sure there are not issues with reading subtitles, and having them display correctly with the new device.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

VidOn Box supports external subtitles, including the formats of srt, ssa, smi, sub+idx, etc.

So if I have the subitles and videos are stored on my home network (on a PC or NAS for example) there should be no issues displaying both with VidOn Box?

Yes, the subtitles and videos should be stored in the same folder.

How will subtitles be managed? Will we be able to change Color, Size, Position, Text Styles (Bold or Plain), Add Color Outlines to the text?

Subtitles such as ass, ssa, srt, smi etc can be changed by pressing menu button during playback.

Currently you can change the subtitle's color, size, position, and text styles such as bold and plain.

We haven't add change color outline feature.

Hi,

Does it support TrueHD, DTS-MA, 7.1 audio HDMI passthrough in XMBC or media centre? If yes, does it require membership subscription to enable theses functions? Sorry I can't find the info in the Specification section of the VidOn box.

Thanks! :ldln:

Yes, it supports TrueHD, DTS-MA 7.1 passthrough in both XBMC and VidOn Media Center, and no, this feature doesn't require membership subscription.
